Hi everyone!

Today I'm coming at you live from my parents' farm. Not my usual photo location (is it weird seeing me not next to a white wall?) but I think this new background is suiting this make perfectly.

But everything would suit this make perfectly, I'm not going to lie, its pretty dang perfect.

This is the View Ridge Tank by Straight Stitch Designs. I had the absolute pleasure of testing this tank for Kimberly. I made version A with cap sleeves, an option that's coming soon on the SSD blog, and I love the way it turned out. I left the hem raw, and turned over the edges instead of using bias tape because of time constraints.

Moving, man. It takes forever.

I cut a size 0 at the shoulders and 2 at the bust, an easy cheater FBA Kimberly is outlining in the pattern instructions. I love that its breezy, feminine, while still being a little flirty.

I upcycled this version from an old maxi skirt. This gauze-y organic cotton was just too thin for a skirt, but was perfect for this flowy tank. I'm so happy I was able to repurpose this fabric, it was just way too cute to sit in my closet unworn!

The day I took these photos I had packed, drove for hours, and moved. This shirt held up SO WELL. It stayed comfortable, held its shape, and kept looking cute all day long. No regrets, just plans to make more. Maybe in a paisley crepe?
