Hey everyone!

Big news for you today - I'm launching a podcast! 

I've been blogging for nearly a whole year now, and my favourite part of the process has been getting to meet so many new, amazing sewing friends. You guys are all so sweet and I wanted to be able to connect with all of you wonderful people in a new way. 

So the Maker Style Podcast was born!

What Is Maker Style?

Maker Style is the creative lifestyle podcast for passionate, daring women who love to make beautiful things. We chat about small business, blogging, and lots and lots of sewing with interviews with some of the sewing community's coolest makers. 

I don't have any real-life sewing friends that I can geek out about patterns, fabrics, and sewing tips with, and I know so many of you are in the same boat. 

It would be nice to just be able to have a laid-back chat about sewing more often, wouldn't it?

That's exactly what Maker Style is all about.

 I want listening to the Maker Style Podcast to feel like sitting down for a coffee and chat with your girlfriends who are just as passionate about making beautiful things as you are. Like every week when you tune into the show, you're getting ready to hang with your sewing friends. 

It will be fun, light-hearted, and inspirational! 

How's it Going to work?

New Maker Style episodes will be coming out on Mondays. I'll be letting you know on the blog whenever a new episode comes out by sharing a short Q&A with this week's guest, and a little bio about them and our episode theme. If you follow along on Bloglovin', you'll never miss a notification! I'll also be letting you guys know on Instagram when there's a new episode out.

Of course, you can also subscribe to the Maker Style podcast on your favourite podcasting app! We're live on Stitcher, iTunes, and Google Play. It's totally free to subscribe, and you'll get the latest episodes downloaded whenever they're released. If you don't like to listen using an app, you can play the podcast in your browser, or download the MP3 files and take it with you wherever you go.

How Can I Start Listening?

We're launching with a bang today! Three full-length episodes are ready for you guys to enjoy today, as well as the introductory episode. That way you can start binge-listening right away. 

Since we're launching so many episodes today, the Q&As with the interview guests will be published one day at a time all week long on the blog. Check back tomorrow through Thursday to learn some fun facts about our guests!

Another cool feature I'm dying to tell you guys about is the submit a topic form. If there's a certain topic or guest you want to see on the show, let me know and I'll do my best to make it happen for you. 

I also just wanted to put out a quick thank you to everyone who I've had a chance to work with over these last few months to make this podcast happen. Everyone has been so supportive and enthusiastic - it's been genuinely overwhelming in the best way possible. I can't help but smile when I think about all the love I've received from you guys.
