#ModernGirlScrapbook Challenge

Hi, Friends!

Fellow young people, when was the last time you thought about scrapbooking? Probably never. That's cool, but I'd love you to reconsider. Here's why:

You probably have thousands of photos stored on your phone. Probably a zillion on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, too. Wouldn't it be nice to have all these memories in something a little more physical? Show them off in the way they deserve to be? Probably yes.

But you're also probably thinking to yourself, "Rachel, this is cool and all, but scrapbooking is tacky". It's totally okay to think that way, I felt like this for a long time too! But I'm here today to tell you that scrapbooking doesn't have to be tacky, it can be modern, fun and a total expression of your personality!

Today I'm going to challenge you to think differently about scrapbooking. Take a look at these beautiful, modern books. Could you see your memories being displayed on these gorgeous pages?

These layouts were all created by Azzari Jarrett... Aren't they stunning? You can see more of her work here.

This beautiful October set was made by Donna over at Inspiration StoryBoard. Check it out!

See, totally not tacky. They're all so beautiful and fun! Don't your photos deserve to be preserved in a beautiful place like this?

This Christmas, I'll be making my very first scrapbooking album. I bought this 4x4 beauty from A Beautiful Mess and plan to fill it with memories. I chose this album because its square, perfect for all my insta pics. I'll be sharing my progress and lots of free supplies here on the blog!

I challenge you to join me and make your very own modern girl scrapbook. It's going to be so fun to work on this project together! If you want to play along, please share your projects with the hashtag #ModernGirlScrapbook.

I'm really looking forward to building a community with other girls new to scrapbooking! I can't wait to see what you post.

Until next time,

Rachel
