Sara is one of those people who's joy is contagious. She's just a lot of fun to be around.
In today's episode, we're sitting down with Sara from the Sara Project to chat a little about some easy tips for learning to sew better that Sara has picked up in her years of sewing. It's a fun, informative chat I know you won't want to miss.
Before we dive into the episode, here are a five fast facts about Sara!
Favourite place to vacation?
Maui!
Favourite thing to order at a restaurant?
Burger or Pasta, definitely not a salad girl!
Favourite fabric of all time?
I would have to say the Les Fleurs Rayon I just finished working with. The drape is amazing! It was great to work with. And that iconic print! Can’t go wrong.
Favourite pattern?
Too many! Birkin Flares, Marthe Blouse, Archer Shirt, Seamly Tee just to name a few!
Favourite make you’ve ever created?
My Birkin Flares and my Faux Fur coat for sure, but I’m also pretty proud of my daughter’s Snow White dress I recently finished. It was definitely a labor of love! I love making costumes.
It was such an absolutely pleasure to chat with Sara! She had so much awesome content prepared for this interview we decided to split it up into two episodes, so she'll be back again on October 16th with an episode all about her top six fall patterns!
